The classic, clean-lined transitional furnishings create the perfect backdrop for a sophisticated young man. We were inspired by his apparel and translated it into his furnishings. The fabric of his pinstripe suit is handsomely applied to the modern queen size bed. His hound’s tooth tie is reborn as a rug. And his black wool overcoat appears in a classic reproduction Arne Jacobsen “Egg” Chair. The lattice pattern of the chest adds a perfect finishing touch, just as a pocket square might add to his suit. All of these elements come together with the original oil paintings by local Indiana artist, Rita Spalding. The masculine tone of the art perfectly matches the intended mood of the room.
